What is unique about Milos?

Milos is affectionately known as the island of love.

The Venus de Milo was discovered here and the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite, was worshiped here.

This is a volcanic island, referred to as the "island of colors" due to its' mineral-rich & colorful terrain.

Milos has an over-abundance of exquisitely unique beaches!

You can also find thermal waters and natural hot springs.

The island features quaint fishing villages, Ancient Greek Amphitheatre, Ancient Catacombs, endless tavernas featuring organic Greek cuisine, museums, and of course, breathtaking sunsets...

Can I easily travel on the island to other towns and beaches?

Yes, there is a bus stop 5 minutes walking distance from our hotel.

Since the island is small, the bus rides are about 10 minutes to nearby beaches of your choice.

What amenities does the hotel offer?

The hotel is on the beach with tiki umbrellas, beach beds and also features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis court, ping-pong table, exercise room and hammocks. The hotel is nestled next to a mountain-side hiking trail that leads to private beaches.

Is there a cocktail bar at the pool?

How often are classes scheduled? In what language are classes taught?

All classes are offered in English. Greek & Spanish translation available by request.

Can I just drop in for a milonga or two?

This retreat is meant to form bonds, for instructors to devote attention to the growth and development of the students who are devoting their time and energy to attend the full retreat.  In order to preserve the integrity and intimacy of the group, occasional drop-ins/ milonga-only passes are not offered.  The retreat was specifically designed so that dancers go home with an unforgettable experience that has been tailored and customized for them and to return as stronger dancers and form unforgettable bonds. That being said, we hope you will join us for this truly unique experience!
